This session will start by practicing to press garden flowers (viola). You will learn how to press more difficult flower and how to create a beautiful landscape picture with pressed flowers. This session is designed for students all levels. Just imagine, you will be able to make these projects without any art backgrounds or training. I will show you how. We will also cover framing in the class.

There are 7 classes (7 Saturday morning classes) in this session.

Classroom location: Villa Park High School classroom 604 (18042 Taft Ave., Villa Park, CA 92861)

Starting Date: 1/31/2009 (Saturday)

Class time: 9:30 - 11:30AM

Students need to bring the following materials to class:

  1. toothpicks

  2. craft glue (need to dry clear. Suggest either Tacky or Elmer)

  3. scissors (need to be sharp for precision cutting)

  4. tweezers

  5. cotton balls

  6. soft pastel (available in craft/art supply stores)

  7. sharp craft or utility knife

  8. pencil
